Veraxiom is a white-glove, father-and-son consultancy based in The Woodlands, Montgomery County. We help small and medium businesses use AI the way it should be used: to do real work, save real money, and make better decisions.
Joseph founded Veraxiom after a career spent at the center of how modern technology gets built and secured. He earned bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science, with a minor in mathematics, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he studied under Ronald Rivest, co-inventor of the RSA encryption that protects digital commerce today. Early in his career, he advised Brazil's Ministry of Education on using technology to widen access to secondary education.
He then spent much of his career at Microsoft, leading work across engineering, global strategy, and intellectual property. He established a multidisciplinary regional development center in Asia, identified technology-transfer opportunities with Microsoft Research, supported the technical due diligence behind corporate acquisitions, and managed patent development. As a software engineer, he built deep cybersecurity expertise through Microsoft's Security Development Lifecycle, including threat modeling with the STRIDE framework. He holds 10 U.S. patents, with more filings pending.

Matthew is Joseph's son and business partner, and the hands-on half of Veraxiom. He has worked in quality assurance on automated workflows, with a focus on close attention to detail, accurate recordkeeping, and following each step exactly to a client's requirements. While Joseph sets the technical strategy, Matthew makes sure every implementation is tested, documented, and built the way you asked for it.
